In box lacrosse action, the Mustangs defeated Culver City, 13-7, to win the Los Angeles Box Lacrosse League Varsity Division Championship game, held December 18, 2011 @ Jefferson Park, Torrance, CA. Filmed, produced and edited by DeanBradleyMedia. Lacrosse (sometimes referred to as lax) is an elegant, yet violent sport. No matter where you live, there are lacrosse summer camps in your area. In the South Bay area of Los Angeles, there are several lacrosse summer camps. For those who are serious about lacrosse, lacrosse summer camps are a great way to gain exposure and maybe even make the USA Lacrosse team! USA Lacrosse is probably the holy grail of lacrosse, since USA Lacrosse is the closest thing to a professional league that the sport of lacrosse has to offer. Going to a lacrosse summer camp is the best way to increase your skills, especially if your goal is to one day make the USA lacrosse team! The smash of the lacrosse sticks is almost deafening in this indoor rink. The lacrosse pinnies that the players are wearing are soaked with sweat by the end of the game. Lacrosse rules are a little different between field lacrosse and box lacrosse, and lacrosse footwear varies whether you’re playing on grass or in an indoor rink. The lacrosse positions are quite different between field lacrosse and box lacrosse, too. But ultimately, it hurts either way when you get hit with a lacrosse ball.
